Capability That Empowers Your Drive

Ford Transit® models are designed with impressive handling and traction capabilities — including available Intelligent AWD — to help boost your confidence on the road.

Available All-Wheel Drive

Available Intelligent AWD balances torque between the front and rear wheels to enhance handling and maximize traction, typically before wheelspin can even occur. It helps give you confidence when driving on loose surfaces like dirt or gravel and in rainy or snowy weather.

Ready to Handle the Job

Since their inception, Ford Transit® models have been subjected to seven million customer-equivalent miles of testing in our labs and proving grounds. Testing was also held on roads and highways across Canada at temperatures ranging from -40 to 48 degrees Celsius. We used trucks driven by robots at our Michigan Proving Grounds facility to conduct tests that would be too strenuous for human drivers over an extended period of time. Our objective: enable Transit® models to offer strength and dependability in your everyday jobs.
