What is the Ford Warranty on hybrid and electric vehicles?
Ford Motor Company of Canada offers warranty coverage for components unique to hybrid and electric vehicles, including the high-voltage battery, if found defective in factory-supplied materials or workmanship. This coverage is provided for 8 years or 160,000 kilometres (whichever occurs first), from the Warranty Start Date.
Refer to your Warranty Guide on the Ford website for additional information.
Note: The high-voltage battery is not covered if it is experiencing gradual capacity loss or damage due to improper vehicle storage. For tips on how to maximize capacity and properly store your vehicle, refer to your Owner's Manual.
