How do I play music using a USB through SYNC®*?
When a device is connected to the vehicle's USB port, SYNC will try to read the contents and determine if any supported music files are found. Once music files are found and indexed, the SYNC system will attempt to build speech commands.
Note: To ensure proper operation, your music files must be one of the supported file types: .mp3, .wma, .wav, or .aac.
Playback of a USB device is initiated with the voice command “USB” or by using the menu/screen of the SYNC system. You can find more information in your Owner's Manual.
