Can I get a refund for a recall repair on my Ford?
You may be eligible for reimbursement if you paid to correct the concern addressed by a recall before the owner notification letter was mailed. Your Ford Dealer can review and approve refunds.
Ensure your vehicle is involved in a recall or Customer Satisfaction Program (CSP) by entering your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) on the Ford Recall & Customer Satisfaction page, as these are VIN-specific.
Important:
- Once a recall or Customer Satisfaction Program is announced, the repairs must be completed by an authorized Ford Dealer and will be completed at no charge.
- Before the announcement, recall and Customer Satisfaction Program repairs completed at a non-Ford dealer may be eligible for reimbursement.
Requesting a Refund
To request a refund, submit your original paid receipts to the Service Manager at your Ford Dealer.
Note: If the recall was performed by a third party, the dealer may conduct a diagnostic to verify the recall was performed properly and determine reimbursement eligibility.
If a dealer is not available in your area, contact the Customer Relationship Centre using the Live Chat option or by calling 1-800-565-3673.
