How do I use the rear folding seats in my Ford?

You can choose to fold down one or both of the rear seats in your vehicle by pulling the side lever or top release latch on your seat. Refer to the table below to learn more about how to fold your seats down.

Side Lever Release

To fold your rear seat: 

  1. Fold the outside head restraints down and lower the centre restraint.
  2. Find the lever on the side of the seat and pull the level up to fold the seat down. To learn where the seat release is located in your vehicle, refer to your Owner's Manual.

To unfold the seat, pull the seat up to the locked position. You will hear a click once it has locked back into place.

Top Latch Release

To fold your rear seat:

  1. Find the release latch on top of the seat you want to fold down. 
  2. Push down or pull up on the latch to fold the seat back. To learn where the seat release is located in your vehicle, refer to your Owner's Manual.

To unfold the seat, pull the seat up to the locked position. You will hear a click once it has locked back into place.
