How do I make my Phone As A Key work better?

Using the FordPass^®* App, you can optimize your Phone As A Key^™** device for best performance. Use the steps below for more details.

Optimize Phone As A Key

1. Log in to the FordPass App. 
2. Go to the Vehicle screen. 
3. Select Vehicle Settings.
4. Tap Phone As A Key. 
5. Locate the Optimize section.
   • If a green check mark is shown, you cannot select the menu item, as your Phone As A Key settings are at top performance levels. 
   • If a warning icon is shown, you can adjust your settings using the recommended steps.

When a setting has been successfully adjusted, a green check mark will appear, and you can no longer tap it. Once all menu items have a green check mark, your Phone As A Key settings are at top performance levels.
