How do I change my Ford Account username?

Your Ford account and FordPass App* share the same username, which can be updated on the Ford Support website. 

Updating Your Account Username

Select the drop-down option below to choose the method you are using to learn how to update your username. 

With a Mobile Device or Tablet

To update your Ford or FordPass account username using a mobile device or tablet:

  1. Go to ford.ca/support.
  2. Tap the Menu dropdown.

  3. Select My Account​​​​​.
  4. Choose Sign In.
  5. Enter your username and password.
  6. Tap Sign In.
  7. Select the Menu dropdown.
  8. Choose My Account.
  9. Tap <Your Name's> Account.
  10. Select the Sign-In & Security tile.
  11. Click Edit next to your email address, which is also your username.
  12. Update your email address.
  13. Tap Update.
     

With a PC and Mac

To update your Ford or FordPass account username using a PC or Mac:

  1. Go to ford.ca/support.
  2. Select f8c150e1-51e0-4264-b345-1f24ba0837bb.png.
  3. Choose Sign In. 
  4. Log in to your Ford account.
  5. Select f8c150e1-51e0-4264-b345-1f24ba0837bb.png.
  6. Choose <Your Name's> Account. 
  7. Scroll down to "Sign-in & Security" in the "Manage Your Account" section, then select Manage options. 
  8. Click Edit next to your email address, which is also your username.
  9. Select Update.
