How do I delete my Ford or FordPass®* account?
You can delete your Ford account through the Ford website or the FordPass App.
Important: Deleting your account through either of these applications will:
- Delete both your Ford, FordPass account.
- Remove access to Ford Credit Account Manager.
- Result in a forfeit of FordPass Rewards points you have earned.
- Erase personal data and all customized services and remote features you have set up, including:
- Remote lock and unlock
- Past and upcoming trip data on select vehicles
- Subscriptions and Connected Service plans
Deleting your Ford Account
Choose a dropdown below based on your preferred method:
Using a Mobile Device
To delete your Ford account on the Ford website using a mobile device:
- Go to ford.ca.
- Log in to your Ford account.
- Tap the Menu dropdown.
- Select My Account.
- Tap <Your Name's> Account.
- Choose Account Settings.
- Scroll down and select Delete My Account.
- Tap Delete Account.

Using a Computer
To delete your Ford account on the Ford website using a computer:
- Go to ford.ca.
- Log in to your Ford account.
- Select My Account.
- Choose <Your Name's> Account.
- Select Account Settings.
- Choose Delete My Account.
- Click Delete Account.

Using the FordPass App
To delete your account using FordPass:
FordPass App 4.X Experience
- Log in to the FordPass App.
- Go to the Account screen.
- Tap Settings.
- Select Delete Account at the bottom.
- Review the details on the next screen.
- Tap Delete Account to confirm your request.
Complete the security prompt based on your phone's settings.
Note: If you do not have security features enabled on your device, follow the prompts.
FordPass App 5.X Experience
- Log in to the FordPass App.
- Go to the Account screen.
- Tap Account Information under the "Settings" section.
- Scroll down and select Delete Your Account at the bottom.
- Tap Delete Account.
Complete the security prompt based on your phone's settings.
Note: If you do not have security features enabled on your device, follow the prompts.
- Read the pop-up message.
- Select Delete to complete your request.
