What does the term Connected Vehicle mean?
Connected Vehicle means that the vehicle has the ability to communicate and share information about the maintenance status, potential vehicle malfunctions, and operational conditions with the Ford Prognostics and Analytics Cloud systems when authorized by the vehicle user. This data is processed by cloud/web services to evaluate the vehicle's health and then communicate back to the vehicle owner/operator accordingly.
