How do I request vehicle authorization to use the FordPass App?

If you have attempted to Activate Remote Commands, but received a pop-up confirming that your vehicle is already activated:

Request Vehicle Access 

To request shared access:

1. Open the FordPass^®* App.
2. Select Connect to Vehicle. 

3. Tap Request shared access if you will be an additional user.

   Notes:

   • A message will be sent to all authorized drivers. 
   • If you want to connect to a vehicle and remove all current users, you can perform a reset. 

You can check the status of your request by clicking Check My Access Request.

Notes:

• For lost or stolen devices, visit the I lost my device and FordPass is still active topic.
• For new devices, visit the I have a new device and want to add FordPass topic.
