How do I use the Ford Dealer Level 2 AC Charger?

The Ford Dealer Level 2 AC Charger is designed to provide dealers with a Level 2 Charging solution for their day-to-day inventory charging needs.

Notes:

  • Access to the Ford Dealer Level 2 AC Charger may be restricted to dealer personnel.
  • This charger is not configured to accept payment for public charging.
  • If the charger has been put in Access Control mode, contact a representative from the dealership. If they are unable to assist, try a public charging station.

How do I check the status of a Dealer's Level 2 AC Charger?

The LED status light on the charge station provides an indication of its status:

Not Illuminated Power is off
Steady Green Ready
Flashing Green (Fast) Authorized, wait for the vehicle to connect
Flashing Green (Slow) Suspended (Occupying)
Flashing Blue Charging a vehicle
Steady Red Unrecoverable fault
Flashing Red Recoverable fault
Flashing Yellow Booting / Firmware upgrading / Out of service

What do I do if the Dealer's Level 2 AC Charger displays "SUSPENDED EVSE" on the display?

If a Dealer Level 2 AC Charger is showing "SUSPENDED EVSE" on the display, the charger has been placed in Access Control Mode by the dealer. To use a charger that has been placed in Access Control Mode, please contact a dealer staff member. If they are unable to assist, try a public charging station.
