Home Charging
The Ford Power Promise program makes getting set up with a home charger even easier by offering promotions with complimentary products or discounted services to eligible customers.

What is the Ford Power Promise Home Charging promotion?

For all Provinces excluding Quebec:
If you purchase or lease a new 2024 or 2025 Ford F-150® Lightning®, Mustang Mach-E® or E-Transit® from a Ford Dealer between February 1, 2025, and March 31, 2025, you are eligible to receive a complimentary home charger with complimentary standard home installation or $2,000 bonus cash.* Terms, conditions, and restrictions apply. For Quebec only:
If you purchase or lease a new 2024 or 2025 Ford F-150 Lightning, Mustang Mach-E or E-Transit from a Ford Dealer between February 1, 2025, and March 31, 2025, you are eligible to purchase a Ford Charge Station Pro and standard home installation for $2,450, plus applicable sales taxes (estimated retail value of $3,600).** Terms, conditions, and restrictions apply. Which charger will I receive as part of the Ford Power Promise?
You will receive the Ford Charge Station Pro or a similar model based on availability.*
When my lease ends, do I need to return my home charger too?
No, you can keep your charger.
How do I get my charger installed?
Standard installation will be performed by certified installers in your area through RocketEV Charging Solutions Inc. While at the dealership you will fill out the RocketEV Home Installation Request Form which includes details to assess your home installation needs. Within three business days, RocketEV will contact you directly to review installation requirements and begin scheduling the installation with a certified installer. When the installer arrives at your home, they will bring the Complimentary Home Charger with them to install.
Note: If you do not hear from RocketEV within three business days, resubmit the RocketEV Home Installation Request Form. If you do not receive an email within 24 hours from submission, contact them by phone: 1-888-710-4769 | Monday – Friday 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. | or by email: info@rocketev.ca.
What is considered standard installation?
A standard installation* will follow RocketEV's guidelines, outlined below:
- Installation must be fulfilled by a RocketEV certified installer.
- Installation must be completed at a residential property (a single-family home, duplex, condominium or townhome) with a dedicated electrical meter.
- Charging hardware must be attached to the same structure as the main electrical panel.
- Wiring runs (up to 80 feet) are externally mounted and visible.
- You will need to obtain any prior consents or approval from your homeowner’s association, condominium board, property owner (if you do not own the residential property where the charging hardware will be installed), or any other third party.

Who is eligible to use Live Support?
All F-150 Lightning truck and Mustang Mach-E SUV owners have access to 24/7 Live Support by calling 1-800-565-3673.

Where will my electric vehicle be towed to if I run out of charge?
You can have your electric vehicle towed to one of three locations within 25 kilometres:
- A public charging station.
- Your home.
- A Ford Dealer.
If you are more than 25 kilometres from home, you will be towed to the nearest charge station.

On-the-Road Charging
The FordPass® App†† and the BlueOval™ Charge Network‡ make charging on the road easier by helping you find charging stations, giving you the ability to pay-as-you-go or Plug & Charge with Tesla Superchargers, and more.

How do I activate the BlueOval Charge Network?
To activate the BlueOval Charge Network using the FordPass App:
- Open the FordPass App.
- Select Connected Services.
- Tap Select under your electric Ford.
- Locate the BlueOval Charge Network section and select Activate.
- Tap Next.
- Follow the screen prompts to:
- Add your credit card.
- Read and accept the Terms & Conditions.
- Tap Confirm Activation.
To activate the BlueOval Charge Network using the Ford.ca Website:
- Log in to ford.ca.
- Click on the Profile icon.
- Select [Your Name]'s Account from the dropdown.
- Click on Connected Services. If you have multiple vehicles on your account tap the Select button under your electric vehicle.
- Locate the "BlueOval Charge Network" section and select Activate.
- Tap Next.
- Follow the screen prompts to:
- Add your credit card.
- Read and accept the Terms & Conditions.
- Tap Confirm Activation.
How do I use FordPass to find nearby chargers and activate them?
You can locate public chargers and filter results to find exactly what you are looking for using FordPass or SYNC®‡‡.
- Open the FordPass App.
- Tap Energy.
- Select Public Charging.
Tips:
- From the map view you can view public chargers near your location or input another location in the search bar to browse chargers elsewhere.
- You can find public chargers in the BlueOval Charge Network by tapping the icon on the map view and selecting Activate next to the name of the charger you want to use.
- To view more filter options tap the Filters icon.
How do I use my vehicle's touchscreen to find neaby chargers?
You can locate public chargers on your vehicle's touchscreen by pressing the Home icon and selecting the "Public Charging App"
Tips:
- You can view public chargers near your location or input another location into the search bar to browse chargers elsewhere.
- You can find public chargers in the BlueOval Charge Network by tapping on the location and then pressing Activate next to the name of the charger you want to use.
- To view more filter options tap the Filters icon.
Battery Confidence
Ford Motor Company offers warranty coverage for components unique to hybrid and electric vehicles, including the high-voltage battery, if found to be defective in factory-supplied materials or workmanship. This coverage lasts eight years or 160,000 kilometres from the Warranty Start Date, whichever occurs first.a For more information about which components are covered under warranty, refer to the Battery Electric Vehicle Warranty Guide on the Ford website.
